Mikio began his career at Sony Corporation in Corporate Planning Division and Overseas Branch. Then he joined RCF’s Reconstruction Support Team and worked on the Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction support project.

After working in management consulting, he became an entrepreneur, and was the director and COO of Pocket Marche, the ground-breaking company that links small farmers to consumers. At Pocket Marche he led new business development.
