Varaha, which is the portfolio company of AgFunder SIJ Impact Fund has announced that Google has committed to purchasing 100,000 tonnes of biochar carbon removal credits from Varaha. This is Google’s largest single purchase of biochar credits and first large-scale carbon offtake in India across project categories.
