Our decarbonization strategy prioritizes climate change mitigation through investing in sustainable infrastructure projects in emerging markets, such as renewable energy and energy efficiency, to close the climate finance gap in the Global South.
Aligned with the Paris Agreement, we work with the Government of Japan’s Joint Crediting Mechanism, which helps accelerate such investment, and also contributes towards the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target for Japan and investors.
We leverage both our decarbonization finance expertise, and our global network to source compelling projects in emerging markets.
The strategy is managed by SIJ Climate LLC, a 100% subsidiary of SDG Impact Japan and FSA accredited investment manager.
