環境省「令和6年度二国間クレジット制度資金支援事業のうち設備補助事業」に採択~インドネシア西ジャワ州でのバイオガス燃料転換を通じてGHG排出削減に貢献~
株式会社SDGインパクトジャパン（以下「SIJ」）は、環境省が実施する「令和6年度二国間クレジット制度資金支援事業のうち設備補助事業（以下、JCM設備補助事業）※」に採択されました。本事業は、インドネシア西ジャワ州において、家畜糞尿由来のバイオガスの生成設備を導入し、ジャカルタ及びバンドン近郊に所在する工場に供給することで、天然ガスからバイオガスへの燃料転換を促し、温室効果ガス（GHG）の排出削減を実現するものです。 本プロジェクトでは、SIJを代表事業者、インドネシアのPT Panji Raya Alamindoを共同事業者として、牛の糞尿から発生するメタンを活用し、バイオガスを製造・利用する設備を導入します。これにより、工場での天然ガスの使用削減に加え、大気中へのメタン放出の回避にもつながり、年間17,233 tCO₂eのGHG排出削減効果が見込まれています。 インドネシアでは、家畜由来のメタン排出や化石燃料への依存が環境負荷の一因となっており、持続可能なエネルギー転換が喫緊の課題です。本プロジェクトは、同国の環境政策に沿った取り組みとして、廃棄物の再利用によるエネルギー循環と、農業・畜産業の持続可能な発展の双方に寄与します。 また、本プロジェクトによって削減される温室効果ガスは、パリ協定第6条2項に基づく二国間クレジット制度（JCM）により、日本およびインドネシア両政府の排出削減目標の達成に貢献します。 SDGインパクトジャパンは、本事業を契機に、日本の官民によるカーボンニュートラル実現とグリーントランスフォーメーション（GX）の推進、ならびに発展途上国への脱炭素技術移転と投資促進を一層加速してまいります。 株式会社SDGインパクトジャパンについて： SDGインパクトジャパンは、金融及びサステナビリティの専門家によって設立された、サステナブルファイナンスに特化した企業です。当社は国内外の有力なパートナーと一緒にサステナビリティにフォーカスした運用戦略の組成・運営推進、サステナビリティ向上に貢献する革新的な事業のインキュベーションを行っています。持続可能なアイデアやテクノロジーへのインパクトにつながる投資を通じ、人々と地球の持続可能な未来を創造します。 【本件に関するお問い合わせ先】株式会社SDGインパクトジャパン IR広報部メールアドレス： info@sdgi-j.com ※二国間クレジット制度資金支援事業のうち設備補助事業では、パートナー国において優れた脱炭素技術等を活用して温室効果ガス（GHG）の排出量を削減し、GHG排出削減効果の測定・報告・検証を行い、JCMクレジットを発行し、我が国の温室効果ガス排出削減目標の達成に活用することを目指します。尚、本事業はインドネシア政府と日本政府の協力の下で実施されています。
