We need more than net positive businesses, we need a net positive movement. We need you to demand that change.
We believe it may be naive to say we will ‘solve’ hard problems on our own. Yet we fervently believe we must urgently ‘tackle’ hard problems that measurably benefit humanity and our planet now.
So we prioritise and invest in recycle, recapture, and reuse technologies -because we think reducing the extraction of materials from the earth and instead better recycling what exists already is a good idea.
How we do it
We invest in listed companies and through our proprietary NextGen ESG methodology, we help them drive financial performance through ESG drivers. We also source early-stage opportunities from our global network and partner with the world’s best sustainable tech venture firms. Our team brings decades of successful venture-building expertise and global leadership in sustainability best practices.
We don’t just invest in founders and companies – we work with them to accelerate their growth and amplify their impact, through our UN-backed impact monitoring and management.
We can directly help our portfolio companies scale in various markets, including especially in Japan. Our portfolio companies also benefit from our partnerships with larger corporates.
Values create value
Extractive capitalism is the era, not the framework, within which we work. The time has come to practice another way to invest.
We aim to invest in and collaborate with companies small and large to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges, including ending plastic waste and creating a more sustainable food system.
Together with our award-winning NextGen ESG fund for listed equities, we offer three other fund strategies: early stage AgriFood tech, early stage and growth stage Sustainable tech, and an infrastructure focused decarbonization fund to accelerate renewable energy transition.
With our diverse expertise, we invest along a continuum – from early stage startups to listed companies. Each stage of growth helps inform the other and can help spark innovation and scale faster.
We believe there is a way to achieve practical and actionable change, across businesses large and small.
